NIFTY provides non-invasive prenatal genetic testing services in more than 100 countries and regions around the world, and strives to provide safe, accurate and reliable testing technology to protect the most precious health of babies.
- NIFTY®
NIFTY is a Non-Invasive Fetal TrisomY test (free DNA screening) for expectant mothers to assess the risk of carrying certain chromosomal abnormalities at birth for singletons, twins and egg donors. NIFTY screens for common chromosomal abnormalities including trisomy, sex chromosome aneuploidy, and microdeletion/duplication syndrome, and can provide information about the sex of the fetus.
According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) guidelines, free DNA screening should be performed irrespective of maternal age or risk of chromosomal abnormalities. Free DNA screening is the most sensitive and specific screening test for common fetal aneuploidy.
